WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
Alan Chung and Andrew Spires were sitting with their kids in a park in Tung Chung, in the shadow of mighty Lantau Peak (Lan Tao literally translates to broken or rotten head) in 2018 when the idea of a festival came to life. Over the next year they grafted to find a venue and were just a week and a half away from opening the doors on the original Rotten Head Festival when the political situation forced the event to be cancelled.
Not to be set back by such matters, the duo persisted and after a lengthly search and a bit of a lucky meeting, Rotten Head Festival has finally found its home at AIA Vitality Park at the Hong Kong Observation Wheel.
Rotten Head Festival is a celebration of all things Hong Kong, from music, to food and drink and crafts. It's designed specifically to be enjoyed by everyone, from young professionals to families.
The event is split into three separate days:
Friday for those looking to unwind after a long week with friends, live music and tasty food and drinks
Saturday will be a WHOLE DAY of live music and DJs. We've got world class musicians putting on a show you won't forget. Bring your dancing shoes!
Sunday is Funday with a day dedicated to the little ones. Expect stage shows, games, face painting and music that will rock your socks off
We can't wait to see you and celebrate! BIG LOVE.
